Duet 400
Elesys products are based on patented, proprietary RadialPrint™ technology, which enables label printing to occur while the CD or DVD is rotating in the drive. A computer image is first converted into a format required for printing the image while the media is spinning; after processing through proprietary hardware components, the image is sent to the print pen for printing onto the surface of the CD or DVD. This technology simplifies the user’s experience because the CD or DVD is inserted in only one device, permitting the user to obtain professional looking results without the hassle of multiple steps and devices.

DUET 400
- The DUET 400 Recorder Printer uses a Plextor CD-DVD combination drive with a recording speed up to 48x CD-R; 16x DVD±R.
- Utilizing the DUET ink cartridge, it prints up to 1200 DPI on Inkjet-printable CD-R/DVD±R media of both 8cm & 12cm sizes, with speeds ranging from 20 to 180 seconds.
- It is a USB 2.0 High Speed plug and play device.
- While it supports most software that can print to a Windows printer and most Windows supported CD/DVD burning software, the DUET comes standard with SureThing SE Edition CD/DVD Labeler software and with Sonic's MyDVD, CinePlayer, and RecordNow.
- The DUET 400 has the smallest footprint in the market, 4.75" x 6" x 10" (120x150x250mm) and weighs only 7lbs. 8 oz (3.4kg).
