There are many advanced features for you to use to edit your image.

  1. Image →Mode menu

    Select one of the three modes to switch between a black & white image, grayscale image, or full color image.

  2. The Image→Adjust menu.

    1. Brightness

      Slide the box to the right for a lighter image, and to the left for a darker one.

    2. Contrast

      Slide the box to the left or right to adjust the contrast.

    3. Gamma

      Move each slider bar to the left or right to adjust the Gamma.

    4. Hue/Saturation

      Move each slider bar to the left or right to adjust the Hue or Saturation.

  3. Image→Flip

    Use this to flip the image horizontally, or vertically.

  4. Image→Rotate

    The Arbitrary rotation option allows you to rotate the image by hand up to 360°.

  5. Image→Descreen

    Use this to remove the halftone pattern that is picked up when you scan a newspaper or magazine.

  6. Image→Sharpen

    Slide the bar to the left or right to sharpen the image.

  7. Image→Image Size

    Adjust the appropriate boxes to change the size of the image.

  8. Image→Crop

    After an area is selected with the arrow tool the image can then be cropped
