In order to activate your copy of Collate, you must first purchase a license at
http://www.ScanHelp.com.
Licenses for Collate are per PC. You will only be able to activate on one PC at a time. If you need to transfer your license to a new computer, visit the
Transferring Your Collate License section of this guide.
When you first run Collate, you will be prompted to activate. You will see a screen such as this:

If you are running the shareware, please press "Continue Trial Version." You may stop here as this is all you need to do. If you purchased Collate, please continue.
You need an activation code to continue. To obtain one, click "Request Activation Code". A web form will load where you will need to confirm your order information. Fill in the Serial Number (if it is not already filled out) and three parts of your order information: Last name, Email Address and Order Number. Click Submit.
You will receive an email (typically within a few minutes) at the address you specified containing your new activation code. Copy from the email and paste it into the box on the Product activation window. Hit "Enter Activation Code." If you receive no error, you are active and ready to use your full version!
