What's New in Art-Scan

Congratulations on your purchase of the professional scanning software! If you have used a previous version of Art-Scan, then you are already familiar with its extraordinary quality and versatility. If you are new to Art-Scan, get ready for the most advanced scanning software available today! We have implemented many of your suggestions into this new version. The Art-Scan TWAIN Module for PC Compatibles

The Art-Scan driver is loaded by using a TWAIN interface on IBM PC / Compatable computers, or can be used as a stand alone application. Most software that is 100% TWAIN compatible (examples include Adobe Photoshop, Aldus PhotoStylerTM, and Corel Photo-PAINT!TM) can use the Art-Scan driver. In addition, Art-Scan can be used to scan into many OCR software applicatiosn that are also TWAIN compatible, which means that you can use Art-Scan in those applications, as well. Listed below are the minimum requirements to use Art-Scan to its fullest potential.

The Art-Scan Plug-in Module For Macintosh

Art-Scan on the Mac is an intuitive and easy to use Plug-in Module (PIM) activated from within Adobe Photoshop and other programs that are Plug-in compatible. Art-Scan provides all the necessary features for producing professional quality, high resolution scans and automatically brings them into Photoshop. You can then use Photoshop to edit, enhance, or apply special effects to your scanned images. These images can then be saved for a variety of uses. Listed below are the minimum requirements to use Art-Scan to its fullest potential.

Apple Macintosh Hardware Requirements:

  • PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
  • 128MB of physical RAM
  • 2Gb Hard Drive or more
