- Source Of Image:

There are two options available under Source of Image, both the Scanner option and File option. The scanner option tells the script that the scanner specified in the Twain Data Source will be used to acquire images. The File option, unlike the scanner option, tells Art-Copy SE that an already existing file will be used to create a new file. By selecting File option you will be prompted each use to select a file to be used for the script. The only limitation with the File to File transfer is PDF to PDF support is not supported in the current version.

- Color Mode:

Color Mode allows you to choose between creating a color, grayscale, black and white images, or the newly created option to OCR.

- Resolution:

You may specify the resolution that the script will use when scanning, or converting the image/document being created. You must specify a value between the range of 50 and 9600 DPI.

- File Type:

Art-Copy SE supports the following file types: .JPG./ .BMP / .GIF / .TIF / .PDF/ (OCR).RTF/ (OCR).TXT/ (OCR).PDF

- Output:

The Output option allows you to specify where the image will be transferred. You can specify to send the newly created image to a printer, fax, e-mail, FTP site, database, outside applications, or save it as a newly created file.

- Auto Crop:

By enabling the Auto Crop function Art-Copy SE will automatically crop the images being created. You can specify the auto crop tolerance by going to SetupMore Settings and clicking on the Page tab.

- Test Script:

Once you save a script and close Art-Copy SE the settings will be returned to their defaults, which is why you are given the option to test the script. By clicking on Test Script Art-Copy SE will take whatever settings are currently loaded and excute the script. Then should anything need to be modified you can make the needed changes, and save the script for future use. This saves you the time and hassle of creating a script, finding out it doesnt do exactly what you want, and having to go back to re-create a new script with the added changes.

- Save Script:

This button will save the current setting so you can run the script whenever the need arises.

- Open Script:

This button allows you the ability to load a previously saved script. So if you need to make changes to the script you will be able to.
