1.) Select either Scanner or File from the source of image drop down.
2.) Place the document face down on the scanner bed in the bottom, right corner.
3.) Change the Output drop down list to FTP
4.) Click on the More Settings from the main interface
5.) Click on the FTP tab from the window that appears which will bring up the following window:
6.) Enter the FTP site information that you need in order to connect to the FTP
7.) Click the Test button. When you connect to the remote FTP location choose the directory path that you would like the scanned files to be sent too. Simply click Ok to close the More Settings, and your settings will be saved for each script created until they are changed.
8.) Click either the Test Scripts button, or save the script to be run at a later time.
