1.) Select either Scanner or File from the source of image drop down.

2.) Place the document face down on the scanner bed in the bottom, right corner.
3.) Change the Output drop down list to Application

4.) Click on More Settings from the main interface
5.) Click on the Application tab which will open the following window

6.) Click on the application to select the desired application to have your image/document sent to, and select 'Set as default' option (You will only need to do this once, unless you plan to scan to other applications with additional scripts.).
7.) Click either the Test Scripts button, or save the script to be run at a later time.
