The software loads using the default configurations. Some users change the default settings to best fit their needs. To change the default settings, select File→Setup
, and then use the following tabs to customize your settings:
- Image Tab
- Scan Tab
- File Tab
- Page Tab
- Copy/Fax Tab
- E-mail Tab
- Application Tab
- Descreen/Sharpen Tab
- OCR Tab
There are also three buttons at the bottom of the Setup dialog box:

- Restore Factory Settings: Click this button to restore the default settings.
- OK: Click this button to quit Setup and save the changes.
- Help: Click to see the related help files.
If you decide not to save the changed settings, click the close button on the dialog box (the "x" in the upper, right corner).
