[Return to Contents]

By enabling the image label option Art-Copy will impose an image label over top of the images being created. Each image will have a label in the specified location with the custom text tag. (Enterprise Only)

Insert label on image:

In order to have image labels imposed on images created by Art-Copy the “Insert label on image” option must be selected. Image labels can be imposed on the very fist page of a scan, this is useful for multiple page documents where each page is contained after the first page, or on each individual scanned page
.

Label location:

The label location can be specified by the predefined label alignment radio options. Each radio option represents a section of the whole document. For example if a label needs to be placed at the top left hand corner of the page simple click the radio button position at the very top left portion. If a label should be placed in the center of the scanned document simple click the center radio placement option. If these locations do not meet the specific needs of the image label a custom label location can be specified in pixels. Specifying a custom location may be useful on scans using a custom page sizes.
Text to put in label:

“Insert label on image” option allows for several customized naming options. The first of which includes using any one of the three available naming options such as Prefix, Main, and Suffix. By un-checking any of the three naming options disables the option from being displayed. Each of the three options have a sub category that further allow the naming options to be customized based on the particular naming needs of the scan job. Each sub category includes the ability to use either an auto-generated number that is based on the location of the document in the scanning sequence. The other allows for a static text string to be inserted into the defined area of file name.
(Prefix)(Main)(Suffix)
Default: PrefixMain0001
This is especially useful for batch scanning jobs for invoices, or batch scanning jobs that are dependant on a particular job. By enabling an option such as the Main option as static text name with the text “Customer Invoices”, then enabling the suffix portion of the name as a auto generated number. If a batch scan job of say 10 documents were scanned each of the documents would contain the following sequence of file names:

Example:
ConfidentialPage0001, ConfidentialPage0002, . . . , ConfidentialPage0010

Text on the label may also be customized using the “Set font” option button located near the custom text settings for the image label. By click on the “Set font” button you may specify the size, or font style of the imposed label text.
