Setting Up Art-Copy: Setting up the Printer Driver

In order to perform copies using the “Scan to Printer” button from the main interface you will need to first specify the default printer to use for Art-Copy. By following the instructions below you may setup either a printer connected to the local system or a networked printer.

To set the default printer to use follow the simple steps below:

1.) Open Art-Copy

2.) Click on the File menu then select “Setup”

3.) Click on the "Copy/Fax" tab to display the printer settings

4.) Click the "Printer Properties" button

Once you click on the “Printer Properties” button you will be shown the dialog window below. From this setup window simply click the drop down listing next to the “Name:“ caption. This will display each printer that is currently connected or accessible to your local system. You may select either a local printer or networked printer by clicking the printers name to assign it as the default printer for Art-Copy. You may also set your printing preferences from this “Print Setup” window for the specific printer that you’ve selected. If you ever need to change the printer used by Art-Copy you will need to change it using the printer drop down listing.
