Setting Up Art-Copy: Setting up the Fax Driver

In order to perform a fax function using the “Scan to Fax” button from the main interface you will need to first specify the default fax driver to use for Art-Copy. By following the instructions below you may setup either a fax driver connected to the local system or a networked fax.

To set the default fax driver to use follow the simple steps below:

1.) Open Art-Copy

2.) Click on the File menu then select “Setup”

3.) Click on the "Copy/Fax" tab to display the fax driver settings

4.) Click the "Fax Setup" button

Once you click on the “Printer Properties” button you will be shown the dialog window below. From this setup window simply click the drop down listing next to the “Name:“ caption. This will display each printer and fax driver that is currently connected or accessible to your local system. You may select either a local fax or networked fax driver by clicking the fax drivers name to assign it as the default fax device for Art-Copy. If you ever need to change the fax driver used by Art-Copy you will need to change it using the device drop down listing.
