One of the most powerful features provided by Art-Copy is the ability to scan an image or text document directly to an application with only a few mouse clicks.
There are two kinds of files you will work with: image and text (document). If you select a color mode other than Text (OCR), an image file will be scanned and created before it is sent to an image editor application. If Text (OCR) is chosen, the image scanned will be converted to a text format file and then will be sent to a text editor application. You should match the type of the file and the application, so the file can be read without error.
To scan to an application:
1.) Open Art-Copy

2.) Click on the “Scan to Application” Button

If you have chosen Text (OCR) color mode, an OCR conversion begins after the scan and the Art-Copy Application Manager is launched. Application Manager won't be launched if you have indicated a default application as well as a default file type.
The Application Manager lets you choose an application to send to and a file type to save the scanned image as. Choose the application from the application list and the supported file type from the type list; then click Send. The scanned file is sent to the application.
